David Wyld & Co was established in 2002 by internationally recognised solicitor David Wyld. Mr Wyld was educated at Harrow and Oxford University. After teaching for some time after receiving his degree, he studied Commercial Law and Constitutional Law under the direction of Gordon Slynn, later Lord Slynn of Hadley. He then articled at Linklaters in 1972, and qualified as a solicitor in 1974. After five years specialising in administrative and planning law at Linklaters, Mr Wyld joined Macfarlanes, one of the City of London’s most highly respected firms. During his time there, which included 10 years as the head of the firm’s large litigation department, he gained significant expertise handling international dispute resolution involving multiple jurisdictions and complex commercial matters. As a result of his practice, he forged many strong relationships with leading firms in various jurisdictions worldwide that continue to this day.
